the Buck Wedding

On March 21, 2021, I headed to the beautiful Foundry on Broadway in Frankfort, KY to celebrate Koty and Lauren’s big day! Like many COVID couples, these two had to change their wedding plans multiple times. However, as their day began to unfold I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that THIS DAY was supposed to be their day. It was the most beautiful spring day filled with anticipation, JOY and the most PERFECT weather. All of these elements provided for the best day for these two to celebrate their love.

Photographing Koty and Lauren together was so fun because they were just so thrilled to be with one another. It’s easy to photograph two people who are crazy about each other. It’s also easy to photograph two people who you’ve known for so long. I met lovely Lauren a few years ago at Kentucky Christian University and I’ve known Koty for over a decade (man, that makes me feel old). I could not have been more honored to be the one to photograph their wedding day and I hope you can feel the love and joy in these photos as you look through some of the highlights from their day!
